add efficiency limit to them, which will be level 2 efficiency.
players in sieges use climbing pickaxes to be spiderman in whole terrain, pickaxes launch u in the air and lets u escape ANY situation which is not balanced. and making anti-climbing pickaxes traps work once in 10 times, they are very hard to make but easily to counter/break. efficiency level 2 will be perfect to balance it out a little bit at least

Maybe cap it to eff3, they are really nerfed by the fact u cant use ench books or disenchant them so eff5 is really hard to get

even if eff 5 is hard to get, u do not lose climbing pickaxes, u never lose them. if they get removed from keep inventory list, then it will be balanced to have efficiency 5+ on them

Removing them from keep inv is a good idea imo, make them the same as neth swords.

Either nerfing them to effc 2 or adding them to the items you lose upon death in a siege region, both pretty good ideas
