I suggest that CCNet receives a new update, The Bakery Update, letting the player use the various ingredients obtained from Slimefun to mix and bake many pastries.
This update would include adding three new multiblocks, the mixer, the oven and the yeast producer
The mixer is a multiblock which is a dispenser facing up, a glass above the dispenser, a nether fence next to the glass, and an iron trapdoor above the glass. This could be changed in many ways depending on the developers choice, for example, Leave the trapdoor as the interactive block and changing the nether fence for a glass panel, or if possible change the nether fence for a lever and making it the interactive block, or a button Infront of the dispenser. ( ideas can be seen in the same forum as the oven multiblock is showcased )
This multiblock would have as function to mix various ingredients into their various doughs. These doughs would be then put onto the next multiblock, the oven.
The oven is a more complicated to explain in words multiblock, to which I threw images in (https://www.ccnetmc.com/forum/topic/404-ccnet%3A-the-bakery-update-%7C-multiblock-imagery) so it is easier seen. The Interactive block is the campfire, in which you right click a dough piece in it and it does a similar action as to the composter, where after some seconds the baked item pops out. The oven can also be made of other brick varieties ( the same way you can use different wood fence varieties in current Slimefun multiblocks ).
The third and last Multiblock this suggestion plans to add is the yeast producer. This multiblock is designed as such: A mycelium block, a nether fence above the mycelium and a dispenser facing down above it. (this multiblock can be seen in the same post as the oven multiblock one, where the mixer is also showcased)
Why this multiblock to produce yeast, one may ask. So, in real life, Yeast is a fungi. Bakers and Yeast producers "feed" it for the fungi to grow, and there get yeast. In Minecraft though, the way this suggestion suggests is using this multiblock to produce yeast, by feeding it water and flour ( ingredients used in home-made yeast production ).
Another special feature of the cooking step is kneading. In this update, kneading would be added to be done to certain dough such as bread dough or croissant dough, which is done before baking it in the oven. This would be done in a kitchen or enchanted crafting table multiblock ( to the admin's decision ), by adding flour and a yeast based dough.
After kneading, in baking, yeast-based dough shall be left to rest ( known as proofing ( or rising ) ). This can be done either by using a fridge or in room temperature. Back in the days where fridges didn't exist, bakeries would store bread dough in these rooms full of shelves to let them rise. Though in the modern day, bakeries have access to the newfound technology of refrigerating. History aside, this suggestion depicts a way to bring both ways to CCNet!
Firstly, naturally proofing. This would be used with a new powerless machine ( doesn't spend power ) that would simulate a proofing shelf by letting you insert the dough inside. Wait 60 seconds for it to rise and get your risen dough!
Secondly, refrigerated proofing. This would be used with the freezer item. Similar to the other option, the freezer would let the yeast-based dough raise for 180 seconds ( 90 seconds in freezer II and 60 seconds n freezer III ), and would spend 1 joule per second to raise ( low cost due to it really only being to refrigerate and not freeze ).
This, along with all of the suggestion, is but a suggestion, and admins can scrap and remodel it as they so wish, though I ask for the main idea to keep intact. Baking is fun and it would be fun to bake in CCNet!
