Planes are cool but maybe an aircraft carrier is a bit much, there can be something in between. Many battleships of the past had catapults on them to launch a plane, this was pretty much always a scout plane to look for submarines or range find, point is there is a historic precedent. so if there could be a dreadnaught type ship that could launch a plane, less firepower perhaps but yeah. would be cool for making ship designs
