yes 1 and only 1 heavy torpedo per dreadnought

I think this is a much more complex thing that needs to be explored.
For starters, something like this would, in my opinion, be more balanced on battlecruisers, should they ever be added, however torpedoes are a lot easier to implement than a whole new class, so let's set that aside.

I think that dreadnoughts should, instead of only a single heavy torpedo, should be allowed to have either a single heavy torpedo or two standard torpedoes. Heavy torpedoes are extremely slow and because dreadnoughts literally never have the IRL equivalent of distributed armour schemes, it'd be unlikely that mounting a single torpedo on the bow or stern of a dreadnought would be functional, so the ability to place a single torpedo on either side (or two on one side, if you want), would probably reach the effect we're looking for more effectively. Plus, two standard torpedoes can't really do a tremendous amount of damage to ships that aren't already massively damaged already.

I like the idea a single Heavytorp Cannon would be fine
