Last week I was told depth charges are doing no damage, I thought it was hyperbole because submarines are seldom used but after using them last week they appear to take little damage. It appears everyone has got wind of this, and both sides are exploiting the Rattly 2021 submarine meta. Given its impossible to issue bans based on who has been using it in bad faith, it better the craft be disabled till depth charges are buffed.

For reference, I am a pretty terrible submarine pilot, and last week 2 destroyers who had dropped depth charges on me multiple times had barely scratched me doing about 1-2% per depth charge salvo.

If we want to avoid cheesing regions, submarines need to go until the depthcharge bug is resolved or we will see GNE ahh sub meta again.
