problem is that the times are really difficult to get right
that's why we have siege regions with the same time windows
any earlier, and americans can't participate
any later, and asians can't participate
and probably most europeans too

already discussed this with zaify, here's his response to why its impossible

Well i think 50% of ccnet is EU maybe make the time sided more to EU/Asia because americans can stay awake if they really want naval , we suffered enough , or possibly make 1 for americans and 1 for EU so lets say monday american time , saturday EU time etc...

I do want to know what time you're wanting here, because as Zaify has said quite a few times, each time slot has a major disadvantage:

Assuming afternoon for Europe (16:00 - 18:00 UTC) - The brunt of the blow goes to Asian and Australian players. India gets an improvement to 9pm starting, but SE Asia and Australia will range from 3-5am as a starting time (it's 6-8am currently). Americans get 8am-12pm as a starting time, which won't change much.

Assuming morning for Europe (9:00 - 11:00 UTC) - Americans take the brunt of the blow here, putting the entirety of the Americas anywhere between 1-6am.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the current time slots (excluding Pacific) 10pm-12am for almost the entirety of Europe? Would changing the Pacific time slot to the same time be a solution here, because any movement earlier would destroy Asian players (maybe an hour sooner at most), and the alternative is having the Americans get screwed much harder than Europeans are right now.

If not, I'm somewhat in favor of having two separate times. The variability would be decently confusing and annoying for some players, but might be beneficial in the long run? The real question there is when people think those times should be.

5pm my time whic was 6h ago, it would be 3pm for uk an around 10 am for NA

just fuck the americans, majority of the playerbase is europeans or asians, so make it work for them, not perfectly for americans
