The Nuclear Generator is balanced, its basically fuel generator but nuclear, let me explain, To make fuel you need to get oil and put it in a refinery which uses energy to make fuel, Oil can be produced in town resources or extracted from the ground. The Uranium can be made using sf machines and stuff but it takes time and to automate it you'll also need power or you can get it through town resources or extract it, Just like the oil aka fuel.
So why is the fuel balanced BUT NOT the uranium?
If its about the byproducts of the nuclear generator and other disabled items, you can just remove the output of the generator completely or even better return the byproducts and allow them to be used as android fuel (such as plutoniom)

Please don't just say "no! its unbalanced" and stuff Because it is literally the same thing as fuel and oil.
If it gave too much energy in the past just reduce its energy output and make it require FULL uranium ingots not piles nor chunks.

If you didn't know, uranium can be obtained doing 2 things.
1) sifting pulverised dust
2) using a SF machine that extracts uranium from a single chunk at a time (literally the same as fuel)

Uranium is already used in the fuelling of higher tier androids and power is never an issue since blaze rods are plentiful in any nation.
To me this seems like a redundant feature

I like the suggestion, but there is some points we need to reply to. as someone said that the fuel was limited resource and uranium was not,

-----1st solution, Why don't we make the uranium only obtained from geo miners? and in small amounts so the power be balanced. so we disable obtaining them from the 1st method that kingstanchez said.

------------Another solution ( the better one ), we can also make 2 types of uranium, the normal one; used for blistering ingots and crafting and stuff ( but you cant craft the boosted uranium and other high levels of uranium from it )
, and the fuel uranium that is only obtained in really small amounts ( but you can make boosted uranium ) from geo miner, Wont that be cool? because it sucks to only have fuel and coal generators in your town

Uranium is so easy to mass produce, short way to explain, a bunch of cobble on the igneous processor and some specific machines are all you need to get tiny piles of uranium.
