They're not being added at the moment because I'd like to find an engaging way to introduce them to the game - perhaps through siege rewards or something similar.

Zaify, what exciting ways you gonna add coz people just need 1 and they gonna duplicate and distribute among players for some very affordable price. Like siege rewards and all that it would be good for the first time(where they get 1) not everytime.

Siege rewards idea is so mid for something decorative like armour trims

Id prefer if we just keep it like it is rn rather than make them barely accessible

The part where he said "Those rewards wouldn't be able to be duplicated." doesnt mean you will be able to get just one. It just means that you will get them as reward for participating in sieges. Perhaps 4 trims or more if you participate enough in a siege given that you might lose a set or two with these keepinv changes

Reward for sieges is nice. Other ways could be a chance for a boss to drop them, vote crate drop, or a reward for ranking up.

Now this is a little out there, but I was on a server that had a rare random encounter, 'shooting stars' where you would see a particle effect fall with a chime sound, and if you went to where it dropped, you would get a prize. This one is a bit out there, sure, but I think it would be cool for a very rare chance for a trim to fall from the sky. It would spook noobs for sure.
