pros of decreasing mob spawn rates:

lower chance you die and lose all your items if you forget to log out and go afk

I see mob spawns are disabled at a certain player count reached so clearly it benefits server performance

Cons to decreasing mob spawn rates:

Nothing - spawners provide all of their drops. Zombies and skeletons coming out of nowhere are a nuisance

This suggestion is incredibly out of touch with new players, since they won't have a non-peaceful town full of non-renewable spawners

i talk for all the novices that gets killed by skeletons every 5 seconds.

If a player dies to a single skeleton, they wont have fun in nations (you do actually need certain resources from mobs, like string and the like)
