First I read this and thought that’s a horrible idea if a mod is biased then you’ll have an issue. Then I thought if mods are fighting in pvp and stuff actively helping in the siege then it lets them see where people get annoyed and upset in sieges to make sieges better rather then tryna make sieges better by having one side coping in suggestions and them acting on an issue that isn’t existent.

Despite Ijust's condescending tone this is actually a great idea. Having the admins observe, especially Zaify, would allow them to see how sieges are fought, and how certain additions are functioning instead of having to wait till everyone tries to give their own feedback. This would also cut back on people doing blatantly illegal things. We have seen too often that people do things that are just flat out illegal, but they know by the time staff reacts they've already gotten the advantage they want. This would cut that down significantly (hopefully). It would also mean if something glitches out during a siege you don't have to wait hours or weeks for it to be fixed

admins will get better POV, better knowledge about every detail in sieges, and they will just not get annoyed at all, cause they will have instant arguments about every complain

I just don't think any admin is currently in desperate need of participating in sieges. They gave up playing CCNet to be an admin and I think they're completely fine with that. Besides, if I were an admin I wouldn't go to a siege knowing 80% of it will just be people yelling at me because side X did something illegal

The thing is, no siege vc is the same when a staffer joins (on their main ofc)

all the people who scream [redacted x100] just wont speak and I know this because it's exactly what happens.

Gameplay wise (from a technical perspective) we can't give ourselves the loyalty required to participate (although we do bypass some of the restrictions)

Rick we can give you mayor of the besieged fort to bypass the loyalty restrictions… and I think it’d be a good idea for admins to participate and see how the wars are fought from both sides.

So, many of us actually do spectate sieges. We also spectate your dms and nation chat. Many of us have also taken part in sieges before or have similar experiences from N1 or other servers. We just have a different view on sieges from a perspective that isn’t clouded with hate for another nation or biased against marginally challenging gameplay elements. I’ve been in siege VCs without many of you knowing, and the things you guys say definitely leads me to believe that staff would not get an accurate view of sieges if “invited”.

I encourage everyone to keep making suggestions and talking about possible changes, but let’s be realistic, this is not a good way to accurately portray sieges to staff.
