Great idea

There is no such thing as stealth with movecraft. You detect the vehicle on contacts far before you see it visually. The nametag was meant to identify crafts and give more purpose to the name sign. There is no reason that it shouldn't be there because your argument of stealth is completely irrelevant.

Ashes there is. not everyone does /craftlist or put a contacts sign in their craft. and you only see its direction and how far away it is. it does not show the exact place. its nice to use it. tanks and other ground crafts can camoflauge in the wild by maby covering it with stuff like leaves and stone. (btw i did that in sahara and it worked great but wont work now cus of the nametag)

No but you can literally locate the EXACT position of the craft using /craftlist

There isn't stealth. At all. You don't need /craftlist to know there is an enemy vehicle nearby. Plus, you don't need a contacts sign for an enemy craft to be alerted to you in chat. One half-second glance at chat and you know exactly where it is long before it even gets within visual or firing range without having to do any commands even before nametags were added.

If this has worked for me before i belive it would work better. To meowsalad. Do you yourself spam /craftlist every 2 seconds? And no it shows how many blocks the craft is from you and what direction (north south east west). It does not show the exact coordinates

Literally its every minute or 2 when you get notified. I think you will see combat in less than 15 seconds. You see it once and it depends what craft are you using which determines the distance where you see it. And i dont really know if you know this but your craft can actually MOVE?! suprising right? But now that this new impliment of zaify that you can do /craftlist constantly without spamming this suggestion is worse.

Funnily enough, I do spam /craftlist every two seconds and if a craft is within 3000 blocks of me I take precautions.
Sumi what is the context of this? Is it for fighters? Carriers? I am sure it could be implemented for air viechles.

no i am mostly talking about ground vehicles. like tanks, piloted fieldguns and turrets. they can get camoflauged and i did it before. you can clearly see ships because uhh. u would defenetly be blind if you cannot spot a giant boat. and aircraft which produce a lot of sound and go fast should be spottable. ground vehicles which are more still and doesnt produce much sound are the main focuse on it. as i said in my suggestion make it so that allies and nation members can see the tag but opponements cant.
