When someone uses a different style of combat and beats you in PvP ^^^

Can't you just shoot some one if they won't stop shielding

I think only people who actually pvp in sieges should comment on this one, me personally I think it's pretty good. Shield without unbreaking also take quite some time to break, and people just bring two shields when they don't have unbreaking on their shield.

I tryed using the shields on the pvp server without unbreaking it lasted about 20 seconds against 1 person. Its to the point of being completely useless

Yeah stereo thats part of their point. You get a shield to reduce some of the damage you take and you would counter balance it by taking up some of the space meant for healing

And also having more needed items in hotbar also lowers the time between having to refill your hotbar with pots (when talking about other pvp items)

Shields get cooked by guns, especially machine guns and stuff. I don’t see shields posing that much of a threat.

shields are vanilla, guns aren't, vanilla pvper will melt down gun pvper in combat easily, this suggestion is mainly about ccnet nation's vanilla pvp, which is shield, set, sword and pots. and one person can not 'gun down' 5 shield spammers

blocking damage with shield is okay, but blocking damage with shield infinitly using unbreaking 3 is not so balanced

and u saying unenchanted shield breaks in 20 seconds means u dont fight but and just hold right click with shield, of course it will break if u play 0% offensivly
