So, as we all could see in the last siege of Al Qiama from both side and in the pasts siege weeks too, as Kang, as other like Norston, here there is a basic problem in the point management system, some argue that it is linked to the 2x multiplier if you are losing, on this point you can agree or not it depends on whether you are winning the siege or not. But I think everyone agrees on one thing, being night capped, whether you are winning by 20k or 40k or even just 5k points, is hateful and creates a lot of desire to quit if the warchest is high. Many argue that there are simply players from Asia or NA who are active when EU people are sleeping, and who rightly want to have fun, now, I would like to ask you, how many enemy people have you seen online at 4 in the morning? I answer you by taking the statistics from the siege website, 2 kills in 6 weeks of siege during the night sessions for the European timezone. I think there is no need to say anything else, the justification of people having fun at night does not hold up, nightcapping is done only and exclusively as we could see today, to recover heavy defeats in terms of points, if you really like to stand still for 7 minutes at the banner at 4 in the morning and then log out maybe you have a strange idea of fun. The solution to this problem is, if you do not want to completely remove the night sessions to still allow Asian or North American people to give their contribution to the war, to limit the points obtainable, I thought of two different solutions:

1) Limit the number of basic cappings to 4 (also considering the number of players coming from Asia and North America in proportion to the number of Europeans), this allows you to obtain, at most with 4 full sessions, about 18k

2) Leave the current limit of 7, but if the balance is favorable of 20k / 15k, prevent you from taking more points during the night sessions and therefore block the capping, unless there are no enemies online in which case the limit of accumulable points is increased by 2k for each single enemy.

This still makes it possible to reverse -40k points in your favor, but does not allow you to go from -40k to +40k.

UPDATE:

3)Make it possible, always with the current cappers limits, to make a maximum of 25k / 30k based on the current score, in case you are losing, this allows members from Asia and North America, to still give a great contribution and turn the tide of the war, but if you are instead winning positively, make it possible to make a maximum of 10k points or 5k.

I believe this suggestion would just reduce the impact and fun of players outside of Europe. Id rather love to see coalition recruit more North America players to fight and have the sessions not be night capping. I think that's a much better solution then just reducing the impact of players in different timezones then you.

Yes there are people who are simply in those timezones and wanna play.
Yes they do not get kills, cuz not too many people play in those timezones
If you dont like night capping, recruit people from those timezones, and make nightcaps into nightfights

I'll start by answering you, you talk about American players who have fun at night sieging without doing anything just capping, (name names since you talk a lot about recruiting Americans, let's see if they really exist or are you just you who stay up at night until 5 to score points on a cube game), it's not even about recruiting Americans, because we did it and anyway things haven't changed, because, coincidentally, they also don't log in during the period that for Europeans is considered night time. You talk a lot about balance, it's a fact that European players in percentage are more numerous and on average more active on the server, compared to Americans or those who are online at night in that period, which is why the server does 110 online during the day and does 30 during the hours that are considered night time for EU timezones. Even considering this, Europeans should have protection against abuse from those who log Americans just to score points "blindly". Contt I took into account the timezone but you obviously didn't even read the proposal, otherwise you would have realized that unlike the others, I still tried to give weight to American and Asian players to provide a contribution to the war.

I then respond to RaidKeeper, I think that coffee is purely useless, the server should encourage you to play during the day not to waste hours and sanity to stay awake at 4 / 3 / 5 in the morning and do the impossible to stay focused on a siege, we are people, not robots and doing what you proposed, whether it is doping yourself with coffee or simply giving up sleep for a game, is shameful as well as childish

Finally I answer to stereoIm and BigAmungus69, you also have not read the proposal at all, probably someone told you: go and dislike this link and you did it blindly, in any case, no one ever talked about banning Americans or Asians (your reaction is exaggerated as I just said), but, instead, to rebalance the situation, since my proposal still allows these groups of players to give a proportionate contribution to the war, it does not ban them.

The last comment is for the staff, those people, like the last two are the ones who disagree without evening explaining their reason, the first to say "cope about it" and then do it as well. I spent time for thinking of a solution that was not too much in favor of one side and the other, but if it were to eventually be evaluated only by the number of likes and dislikes without actually seeing the reasons behind them, it would be quite demoralizing even for future discussions on the issue.

For people who are saying not everyone has same timzone and want to have fun in sieges what fun is there just to come cap and not do anything whole session. You cant use "fun" as excuse when there is no combat.
