A big problem regarding movecraft has been ,,meme sieges,, and the vagueness of the rules about it, which is why i propose the following:
The craft sieging the region must stay and fight during preparation/region time. ( instead of pulling back to claims and grabbing a corvette like we saw today ).

just because i dont want to commit to losing a whole fleet, what makes it bad now and ok when the allience was doing it. I did not expect 9 people to be pulled from nowhere

I have done 1 person sieges back to sahara collapse and china times, but i always was giving a fight - i knew that im going to 1v20 and i was ready to face them and be sunk
