Untethered aircraft do not exist for a number of very good reasons.
- They make cargo ships, trains, trucks, horses and zeppelins useless.
- People leave unpiloted/damaged zeppelins in the air constantly and it leaves the skies riddled with debris and ruins and that is ugly and disruptive enough- frankly I think zeppelins should be removed entirely for this reason.
- It means PvPers can just follow someone/something to camp/kill.

Admins don't like fast transportation. That is why bundles are limited, there are no shulkers, cargo ships are vulnerable, zeppelins are slow, trains are expensive. The server needs the risk of transporting cargo. If you would make planes that can get you to the other side of the world in 2 minutes, then sieges won't take skill and planning, they would depend on who transported more mats faster, and that would not be fun for anyone

The only way planes could work, if the map was 5x bigger. Then people would need them, but rn, you can get anywhere with a zeppelin, horse or an APC

Zeppelins pretty much are civilian airplanes

@Ashes43 No, it wouldn't make cargo ships, trains, trucks, or zeppelin usesless. Those crafts have the ability to store many dubs of items. A civilian plane can/should be very limited by having 1-2 dubs of max chest space, no ability to have AA guns, bombs, etc, but be slightly faster than zeppelin.
