I think we can all Agree-depending on if the server crashes or if our team locks in- Assault Regions are super fun. You get to be with your team and basically have a big team fight but with higher stakes, you can get super rich, get more diplomatic points and get a bunch of useful resources. While on the other hand the enemy could pay tens of thousands on a fleet that could get wiped out until they try again the next week. Keep in mind though that these regions, are pretty much reserved for the 2 main mega alliances. Which tbf are able to withstand the constant war while a neutral nation might not.

But there is more to movecraft than just regions, you can also go an deliver prep to your allies or intercept people bringing prep to their allies.

You can do cargo contracts but lets be honest, there are only a few people on the server that really do those.

And besides these newerish naval fort nations popping up and ofc travel, it seems like using and learning this movecraft can be sort of pointless. Even in some of these big alliances, it seems like only a few members actually hold regions anyway at least from what I remember and can visually see.

Imagine if more nations could own assault regions...

-they would be very localized region fights. Like 10k or even less from your capital is the range needed to attack one of these small regions. This wouldn't increase the lag because it isn't 20v20 for a full half an hour.

-Since assault regions already exist, nations that own those "big regions" can't own a small region.

-They would give a small payout maybe 1k a day, small dp boost like 5-10 enough to do at least something, and maybe half of a theater

-Nations that are non aligned/neutral alliance could be able to have some fun doing movecraft(a huge reason why a lot of people joined the server btw)

-would include all ships so you can still traverse though the region unlike the current system where even if a region isn't going on, you aren't able to pass though.

This would make more nations actually try movecraft which is an important aspect of the server.

Another feature could be small pirate ships or pirate fleets(wooden ships) that could spawn in oceans leave nothing upon sinking but will give the sinker money a very small amount for sinking them. The fear is that it would lag the server but there could be 1 or 2 spawns every hour. Nations could sink this for fun or for the small amount of money. These pirates would obviously fire back and try to approach to try and attack you on the water.

I strongly believe that mini regions would greatly benefit the server not just the small neutral nations but also mega alliance nations that aren't given a region. It will give more nations a chance to show their naval strength. Pirates could be a funny little addition.
