Nooo the nation I build with 0 effort just imported friend from other server should have a priority over hard work nation from scratch! Its not like we come from servers that specifically focus on pvp!

The like 5 original ccnet players that go to pvp servers, can count them with the fingers of your hand, the 99 pvpers are from other server. Ure never realistically recruiting a good sword user its very rare theyre all taken from other server. So every new nation has to rely on gun/movecraft, but guess CCNet is nerfing both to extinction slowly

Raising the TTK or having other effective side grades infuriates purists, and since they rarely stick around it's not much of a loss if they pack their bags early

I agree they need buffing. I don't think it's the "omg guns are op" that's going to hurt the players, but actually the amount of players who travel to siege and respawn thousands of blocks away from the siege.

Yeah, I agree with this. Meganations completely wipe out all new nations or annex them and newer players have to way to defend themselves. Guns force people to think strategically rather than just hire your friends from pvp servers. plus this is a server that's supposed to hold a ww1 setting, the war that brought the death of widespread melee combat.

the gun buff would go both ways. you would directly be making the bigger nations even stronger with such a drastic change

nah there are pure gun users (romans) and according to me guns are well balanced no need to change anything

As someone who understands pvp but prefers guns as its more fun and dynamic. They are practically useless at mid/close ranges and dont deal the same amount of damage as a crit sword neither are they as forgiving. So guns need to be buffed to make them equal to sword pvp.

Ashes is completely correct, guns make strategy important... right now its who can hire more pvp logons (who only play for pvp and no other element).

While perp is right, bigger nations already have an advantage as they will often have more logons.

In addition this makes the best place to train pvp on CCnet rather than pvp servers. It also a lot more fun in general and acts as a barrier for toxic 13 yr olds that rely on sword pvp to boost their egos.

Guns need to be equal as a minimum, and therefore require a buff.

I mean swift pots + sword = useless rifles.

Ashikaga incident aboutta repeat itself if this goes through, ive been 1 shotted by guns multiple times and all it did was cause anger and suggestions to nerf guns

Ive been using machine guns in saigon and you can drop literely any pvper it requires 0 skill and 0 effort, that was even before the buff

Guns are already very annoying, and sniper rifles already do good damage even to medium range, i was always getting sniped at incindium when i wasnt ifv spammed to oblivion, djmaximow the second is right

Actually the machineguns from the Saigon map have 50% buff, which the machineguns on nations do not share.

I don't think that it goes both ways as a rifle is easier to produce and learn how to use than an sword, they get stronger but it gives nations without as many pvpers a shot as well

guns actually can take out people pretty efficiently, there are more instances than I can count where I was dropped by several snipers just for peeking my head over a wall before I can pot. Shoot and target someone with a machinegun and the debuff causes even more damage by sniper per hit to them
