Proof shields are overpowered since a movecrafter should not being destroying a pvper just cause he has a shield and the pvper doesn’t have a shield

You could also change shields to reduce incoming damage rather than block it. Or add a rune which allows for partial damage though sheilds.

This is the only valid argument ever against shields, I support this, though them being able to block arrows and some gunshots are still cool.

And if you actually went through the ccnet weapons for example guns you would realize that guns counter shields with not much skill needed other than aiming, so if you actually did understand ccnet PvP you wouldn't even be making this suggestion.

Xtinc I understand ccnet pvp well enough to know that guns do much less damage then a player with a sword and shield guns are a very loose counter to shields since the only time a shield is used in a fight is close range. Due to this a gun does less damage than a sword and wouldn’t be a considerable counter to the shield.

Titan_A, what I mean is that at 1:40 in the video he holds the shield up, opens the inventory where in the player section you can still see him holding the shield up and you can hear and see him successfully blocking a hit while refilling inventory with potions

axes are not viable to switch to mid crit chain because the shield user can just spin around and hold it up then you hit their shield, giving them time to start critting you. high ping players can’t even do this anyways because the delay is too much

If you get good at axe and shield (a game mode like nethpot) you can actually prevent crit chaining after you disable shield by spaming the axe lol. About pji, ye his shield seems to be blocking and it has happened to me but I am a high ping player so that could be the reason but pji is a low ping player sooo...

Perplexed I’ve always been able to do it even with base minecraft. It’s just whenever I’m button mashing and end up holding the shield up while I open the inventory I never even noticed I did it against Ijust until it was pointed out here.
