+1. While gunspamming should exist to make the meta viable for all kinds of people who do not find pvp enjoyable, the autocanon does not seem to be balanced at all and makes capping impossible when an enemy has one.

+1 You call us copium, that autocannons can be destroyed in two seconds, same with how the autocannon can destroy a player in two seconds. The amount of direct damage an autocannon does is around 4.5 hearts, and please think about the shooting rate. Even when it's not direct it does 1-2 hearts per hit. Also we can't just pull out whatever craft that destroys autocannons immediately, before the damage has already been done to players. If you somehow disagree with this please state a good reason why, because I really dont see a good reason to not nerf autocannons.

realistically not "impossible" to survive, cuz if it is then all of you would be experience orbs by now. I mean slightly reduce the damage down by like a heart or two would be fine.

Nerf as they were designed for anti movecraft not anti player plus ifvs are specifically vulnerable to movecraft because they do so much damage to players. Autocannons however do tons of damage to movecraft and players making them an all in one leaving no reason for ifvs as ifvs are super vulnerable

Sure one hit might be decent but no one talks about how frequent you will be hitting these hits compared to other forms of combat. I have asked far too many times for anyone to come and compare the damage output of something like a sword compared to a gun and no one dares to provide it

To put it in a different perspective, a headshot from a sniper does 4 hearts. A sword crit does like 2 hearts. A sword can attack twice in the same period of time a gun can shoot once. You would normally land most of your sword hits in close range compared to having quite a noticeable drop in accuracy for guns especially when you have to be careful not to hit your own allies. Even if you do manage to not hit your allies and hit enemies instead, you still have quite a good chance to hit them while they are under damage immunity which will just apply the 4 hearts damage instead of the swords 2 which means you only did 2 hearts more damage on top of your allies sword aka you did 50% of your original damage. Sure suppress can increase this damage slightly but its still not that much noticeable impact compared to another sword pvper

I'm quite sure you haven't used an IFV inside of a siege for the past 2 months if you are under the impression that IFVs do a lot of dmg to players, if you want to nerf autocannons then IFVs need a buff, the recent buff did something, but not enough, less than half the shots deal the damage written in the change log (you will most likely debate using that) which still makes it a snowball launcher. An autocannon fighter is the only usable anti-personnel movecraft that is viable to actually kill players as of now. So if you want to take that away, a buff for the IFV is needed and not a minor one.

The damage of ifvs is at a balance that has been found over the past years through buffs and nerfs. They do not kill you instantly or create a hole to keep you in like autocannons but they do deal damage to players, and quite a lot. Movecraft should not determine a seige and neither should PvP it should be decided on how people utilize their skills

Even with an autocannons nerf I still think they should be removed (assuming no nerf to movecraft damage) because nobody is using the high skill requirement bomber over a fighter where if you just shoot again fast, bombers need a buff and autocannons need to be removed as they are broken. Fighters shoot down bombers and protect their bombers bombers attack ground movecraft that is how it should be

By utilize their skills you mean sword pvp since that is by far the only viable way to fight. By viable I mean that nothing else comes even close to damage output or pressure. Everything that worked well got removed. There is currently no synergy in anything.

Guns used to do nice per shot damage but have lower accuracy. Ifv used to be good bleeding vehicle that did big AoE with rapid fire (should have lower damage due to big aoe and constant pressure). However now friendly fire applies to them so they cant be utilized 50-75% as much as they did before.

Anyone who thinks this is fine is just annoyed at something they arent used to in combat. No statistic or data can back up that guns and ifvs are good right now. Everyone sees like 10 hits they got from a gun and be like omg thats op but then get critted 30 times by a sword and thats fine.

Staff team is more than capable to add tracking for these statistics so we can finally end the debate but they are incompetent when it comes to quality of their interactions with the playerbase

You fail to adress why Autocannon fighters shouldn’t be removed/nerfed

I didnt, I said it many times that I dont feel like autocannons should be the ones to do player damage. I would rather have plane MG do player damage since autocannon is meant for heavy armor vehicles. I wouldnt mind bombers to do it instead but they would need different rockets due to the cost

Id say nerf autocannon to oblivion or remove it fully and buff IFV as its more risky to use and rn is very bad

Well I like it, because I read the first comment, it is true people like me are very good with rifles, in my case I can do some pvp but if it gets a nerf the pvp with gunspam would be better if it gets nerfed
