I think my powder-charge idea would work well with this, as would an overhaul to sailboat mechanics.

is this finally it? I have suggested the same to be put in the indian ocean or somewhere near it. Or what if!1!! we rebranded indian siege region with cogs!1!!1!

But what if we make these regions have a different gameplay? I propose 3 or more "pirate" regions (Caribean, West India, North-east Japan) and instead of money daily which is the easy way, you get an once-captured bounty (treasure chest) with random good items like gold, silver, diamonds, emeralds, lored swords, armor... no auto money in your nation bank.

Also would be cool to have PvP in the area, only swords and pistols, but since its movecraft I'm not sure how to propose stuff like boarding other ships, etc. since you can't build next to them

Ah, forgot: If we want a pirate theater too, maybe we could have all the pirate regions one after the other (20 min each) to be able to capture all the zones or divide the amount of people participating.

that sounds really cool yeah the auto money thing is kinda boring. Regarding the 1 ship per nation thing i think that would also be good but maybe not just 1 ship per nation.

Perhaps each nation is allowed 1 east indiaman and 2 caravels each. not only would this be an actual unique siege region for once but it would help with ports too. instead of massive towns with rows upon rows of destroyers all looking the same, there could be just 2 caravels and one east indiaman in a good looking port.

Smaller wooden ship regions would be great. Imagine a cog region in the Hudson Bay, or perhaps a caravel/Eastindiaman region in the Caribbean. Amazing idea IMO and should be added

(Icebreaker region in the arctic near Greenland :3)

This is amazing! This makes wood ships useful beside transportation! Cannons for wooden boats will be useful !
