I think we should remove [/suicide], and replace it with something like [/reset], or something along the lines of that. I do not believe a video game should have an option to commit suicide, i think its a sensitive topic, and I don't think it should be used lightly like it is. I don't think there's a big need for the command to be named that, I think there are alternatives, and i think those alternatives should be used. If anyone has a reason why its kept like that or why it might not be changed, feel free to lmk.

/reset and /respawn could be misleading
Reset could mean you reset progress on /ranks and mcmmo
/Respawn would deceive players thinking they wont die, just respawn

You are welcome to suggest another word, assuming it leaves nothing to assumption.

'/suicide' will always be interpreted as: "this command WILL kill me"

As Csipok_ said prior, the other two suggested terms are misleading
(and are scarily similar to ones staff have access to, wouldn't want to kill bind on duty)

This command comes from the plugin EssentialsX and exists on a significant number of servers (61341 servers self-reporting with EssentialsX currently)

The plugin and command are old as time, and this is not a unique-to-CCNet command.

I would suggest redirecting your concerns to the plugin maintainers, as if you're really concerned about the term suicide being used loosely on Minecraft, then you're going to have an actual impact by getting the plugin to change the command.

I get that its a sensitive topic, but its just a command on a server, I don't think its that deep, I don't think any1 gets offended over a minecraft command
