yall can call this cope or complaining, wtv. Most of us realize that dripstone is like the most annoying "meta" that the server is taking part right now. Like it has gotten to the point where its almost that session now heavily depends on traps and whatnot. Dont get me wrong , some traps such as blocking off ganks*, wild ganks* or banner forts* etc are still tolerable and can be considered as a fair and balanced trap/mechanic. However dripstones are NOT balanced in any way:
it's literally 1 tap, the moment you fall in , you are most definitely dead. "Just use an epearl bro or climbing picks" , guess what , climbing picks are still not fixed/bugged and if you are caught in a situation where you are on E pearl cooldown , you are done for. No matter what you say , dripstones are the most no skill and lifeless "mechanic" right now. one or two is acceptable to an extent but the WHOLE banner radius is filled with it. ' Oh great you survived 1 dripstone gank by epearling, now go walk across to repot and you will fall into 17 more of them'.
Doesnt matter if you work on fixing them on the off session , well guess what , during nightcaps, BOOM! , 20 more of them spawn out of nowhere like nobody cares. People complain about dogs , IFVs , Shields and whatnot , those have legitimate counters whereas this has literally nothing... It has gotten to the point where its not even fun anymore, people mainhanding KB , pushing people into ganks and calling it a session.
I know this will be taken as copium or wtv but this is a real issue of just straight up broken mechanics.
