Cope, fix the actual problem ( climbing pickaxes ) and dont put the problem on dripstone.

Alright I understand that dripstone traps are incredibly annoying but they've been the meta for years all the way back in 2021, and yes dying to dripstone is annoying but seriously, what are you supposed to do agaisnt 30 sweaty log ons.
Both sides have used traps to benefit in sieges and wild fights, if you die once oh well tough luck now you know theres a trap there and will avoid to go there, "but i still get knocked into the trap" thats your own fault for not coordinating with your own allies, most people die to traps because they think they're the main character and can pull off a "Nah I'd Win" against 15 players.

I gave my guid eon how to pearl, even when unexpected dripstone. And if you're on cooldown just dont go near any dripstone ganks smh

And what is this all about calling dripstone traps "skill less" if it is so skill less thing why'd fall for it, and why are you not using them yourself to trap the opponents. There are ways to avoid dripstone apart from e pearl and climbing picks proper coordination and knowledge for traps existing and e pearling when u are about to get trapped.

hi, instead of saying to remove dripstone, what if we looked on the ground and saw the suspiciously long hole, could instead idk, make a set amount of dripstone that can be within a chunk if its that big of a problem

Another thing i would like to point out about alliance about dripstone is that unlike IFVs and shit. ANYONE can use dripstone, if you're getting kb'd into it just kb the other guy into his own dripstone, whats your point here Or does dripstone counter only work for coa and not alliance

Unexplained , i really dont see your point when you yourself know that those dripstone ganks are literally not visible from outside, as per seen in your very own clip of you falling down one. Moreover, I dont think people can decide whether they can be near a dripstone gank when they are on pearl cooldown, so i dont see your point at all.

Moreover the fact that there is like 7-10 of them in just the banner area alone is something to be taken note of, together with the bug , it just makes this trap skilless. Matt1fy firstly I waited 2 seconds to pearl because I was looking down to see if those were dripstone or not so there is no excuse for you guys as well . SECONDLY, wdym you can't decide, just dont go near the dripstone ganks how hard is that, ya'all think you're the main character and jump 10v1 and then get dripstoned and die and cope . THIRDLY, yes climbing picks STILL WORK AGAINST THEM you can break your fall granted you cant leave the gank but then its just a gank and dripstone is not at fault. MOREOVER, KBing people takes the most pvp skill cuz you have to combo, disable shield, etc etc its the most skill shit in sieges and ya'all saying its no skill is WILD. LASTLY, its not like you cant use dripstone against opps as well, if they kb you kb them into the hole instead? They arnt like skilless IFV where you cant use it against your opps.

Im gonna mention this here cause no one seems to have thought of it. A parachute would save you from dripstone and it has no cool down.

okay before i respond to you Unexplained, i would like it if you can stop bringing up unnecessary stuff that isnt relevant to what i said(IFVs). Back to the topic, In the video, you clearly fell down a wild gank that you were unaware of. Your own team is unaware of the dripstone ganks YALL built, so what makes you think that any other person can easily locate them. At Augustina and many other sieges , these ganks were used way too much, not the frequency of each gank but the number of ganks there were. Lastly, I believe when you KB people into dripstone ganks that YOU are aware that its there, has to give your side the advantage, you made the ganks , you know where they are , you can kb people in without them knowing of these traps. Lastly Climbing picks dont negate the damage still, You are still stuck in that hole , with no other way of getting out.

firstly dripstone traps are a new meta ive been seeing just increase in popularity because i cant get to banner without dying to them, climbing picks dont work (fix pls) and they can just be made useless by placing non climbable block and pearls have an insane cd so you would have to wait 5 minutes just so you can fight for 1 minute then getting pushed back into a trap. ts is NOT fun and its cancer every siege i go to have to geolocate every dripstone trap just so i can walk outside the fort and still get cooked because someone is sweating too much and i have a gigantic skill issue and dont know how to fight back so i just die (skill issue) and then lose all interest in sieges. One method i found really fun is holes in the ground that lead to ganks, proved by deathrayzur in his stream on beograd siege they can be both effective and are funny

downvote only I truly mastered dripstone traps yes i get a lot of kills but there are so many ways you can just avoid them. 1. its impossible to make them close to banner since protection exist. 2. climbing pickaxes they bug but they work good enough to not die. 3. ender pearls 4.avoiding the trap. Just because you die to something doesnt mean it should be nerfed there are many people that can kill so many players in dripstone and not die

and djmaximow2 btw both sides are affected by dripstone. Cannons make movecraft awful for attackers and defenders can just spam ifv and attackaers cant do anything

I understand what your saying but a simple fix to this entire problem would be just to fix the bug with climbing pickaxes

mattify you just proved you do not use climbing pickaxes at all they negate all damage even if they are bugged

but also imo there should be a limit per chunk, because as of rn you can leave one dripstone trap and walk straight into another in like 2 blocks, especially with the shitty siege terrain and near map defacement at sieges like Augustina.

These guys are calling dripstone ganks and shields skillses on a geopolitical server where almost everything is enabled on a siege starting from flying with a plane to gunspamming i do not have anything to say about this kind of not absurd nerfs this is not only PvP on a flat ground server i dont know where are we based on that maybe too many only "pvpers" are making suggestions?

Tbh kitsune i think that dripstone is kinda just something you have to learn in this age of sieges they happen all the time and take it from someone who died almost every weekend to dripstone and now I can’t remember the last time I died in one you just have to learn when to put pearls in ur hotbar and climbing pics in offhand i find regulating ur offhand works rly well for avoiding bad situations so it’s kinda a skill issue i think and shouldnt be blamed on one side for using them a lot

Thats kind of hard when they are like, everywhere. During st augustina I legit stepped out of the fort and there were 4 different dripstone traps next to me. I don't think that dripstone should be removed but it should be limited.
