Right now, player is magnetized to position he started direct control from, and he cant move together with a turret. If youre using a turret in DC and your pilot position not perfectly centered to craft, you will fly out of turret and position. My suggestion is, player should be affected by a turret and moved with it, like if he was out of DC.

uhh, why in the world would you need to be in dc with a turret which cant move at all? Or do you mean you are on a Eg. destroyer and do /dc on the turret? or am i missing something

I think my english is not the best xD Lemme tell an example: Youre standing on a turret of any craft, and your position youre standing on is not centered. If youre in direct control and you rotate your turret, you wont change your position towards main craft - but you will change it towards turret, because you havent been moved with it.

My tanks use rotative turrets, what I do is isolate the periscope from the turret so I dont rotate with the turret. You can also place the periscope behind the turret to not being dragged during a rotation.

Sometimes its just not possible, and, im my point of view, being dragged by a turret in DC is reasonable
