Shrapnel itself is not insane, you are being shot by an IFV, your own fort cannons, and shrapnel. With those 3 of course its gonna be insane.. For the frames you can turn off particles in your settings which basically just removes the frame issues.

Its terrible, so instead of sitting here trying to justify that sharpnel is perfect and it doesn't cause game issues. Go experiment with it, because we have. Everyone have their own situations, thats true. But we are talking about minecraft - 16 years old block game, you dont need something crazy to play it with good enough fps. Idk about europe/america/asia, but in my country you can build pc for minecraft to play it without lags (even at situation we talking about) for around 300 dollars/270 euros. Is it actually so bad price? Wait for summer and get a job for a month or two.
But if you cant do it due some issues - at least dont cry that your pc cant take 16 years old game.
(Turn off particles as valk said, doesnt it help?)

I love when pvpers starting to cope about some kind of thing doing more damage than swords - we already lost so much movecraft that was some way useful as anti troopers, and all of that just because some part of server wants pot pvp at banner and nothing more

Shrap doesn’t rlly lag, I been team shrapped a lot thanks to Evr3nk. Damage wise it’s also pretty bad unless you use cannons and IFV’s in combination, in which case it defo should do damage since you being shot at by 3 things can all be disabled (drill the fort cannons, sink the howitzer truck/break the howitzer battery, sink the IFV/disable the IFV).

If MV and non pvp stuff keep getting nerfed the server just gonna become a pure pvp server :sob:

First of all staff dont care about votes on a suggestion.
Second, did you try turning off particles in settings? Cuz before i upgraded my pc, i played on a 6 year old laptop. i had particles turned off and i didnt drop fps (yes i played on 30fps constantly, but i didnt see fps drops in cause of shrapnel). So stop blaming a whole alliance, just try to learn how to play. Minecraft cannot look amazing and keep 2k FPS at the same time. you gotta choose one
