Instead of minecart system, you could use an aspect of the create mod and make custom conveyer belts of sorts. Idk if this would improve the way transporting works at high player counts or if it would just cause more lag, but its an idea ig.

 

create mod. as the name suggests is a mod, this is all done by plugins so players dont have to install any needless stuff to play the game.
