This addition would be really exciting, allowing players to combine their favorite player heads with helmets. For example imagine wearing a Mandalorian helmet or a Viking head with all the protective attributes of a diamond or netherite helmet. This addition could add a new layer of fun to the game ;D

It's possible to send fake armour to clients — this is how we display team-coloured armour at sieges.

The same technique can be applied here. Everyone sees a custom item in the helmet slot, while you still wear diamond armour server-side.

The drawback is that you will not be able to see the underlying armour's durability in your inventory. A command that lets you see this would have to be added.
