As a fort designer yeah. I have to just trust people not to give them to others or resell them. Forts are innovated, designed, decorated, sold, and printed in a very similar process to movecraft. One could say that they arent an intentional feature but they have become such a staple of CCNet at this point.

i 100% agree, some people spend weeks.. even months designing a fort just for some random person to steal it and print it themselves. 1 person takes the fall but a whole nation has the fort, doesn't make sense at all.

My addon on this would just to give a 2 week time for fort copies to completely change their fort or it gets deleted simple as that, same way it works for untextured forts or ugly ones, should be with straight up copies

While i agree that straight up copies of other forts shouldn’t be allowed I think that if you should be allowed to use the same fort as your friend if they give you the permission to and that it shouldn’t be like movecraft where people have printing rights but not sharing rights

I'm unsure if this suggestion is 100% clear, but I agree that people shouldn't be allowed to copy your fort design (given the unique nature of them), and should only be allowed to print it with your permission. This would work similar to the movecraft registry. However its not really fair to enact this rule on pre-existing forts, as the structure is already in place and would be grand-fathered in similar to other instances.

I believe he means the current fort stealing meta is usually from movecraft plots or external means such as public build servers, or using schematica illegally to steal a build and claiming it as inspiration through images

I completely agree with this suggestion however you namedrop "people like Donbass" as if you didn't go around selling "best alliance forts" that also belonged to other players

I believe what fake is trying to say is this,

He made the forts called Althergard and Progresso, he then gave it to some other guy and that guy sent the design to some other nation and that nation printed his design without permission.

Cont I don't see your point here as I made that post as complete satire despite having a truth as a background, It was in "Retaliation" against the blatant copying of my forts and people just making fun of me over having my work

The suggestion is specially talking how my forts have became a standart point for forts in this server and everyone that can ends up blatantly copying them if not just printing them such as Khanate_Vanguard, which for me as a fort builder its completely disgusting and removes the fun out of the game, adding on that, YES, forts that have been copied should get their respective timeline to get remodeled, its completely disgusting to just blatantly copy 1:1 other peoples work that takes weeks to make, if I can spend weeks making a design u can spend few days remodeling your fort

I agree with everything here except deleting existing forts, taking down and rebuilding a fort is a massive and expensive endeavour and that requirement would disproportionately harm certain nations. While it's bad that they stole designs, all sides have done it so it's best to simply have a "from now on" policy.
